Waterview Villa Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center seeks a part time MDS Coordinator to join our team in East Providence, RI.
Responsibilities include:
· Complete assigned MDS items, RAPS and Care Plans
· Direct the facility interdisciplinary RAI process while following guidelines for completion, computer encoding and electronic State transmission of the MDS.
· Participate in Resident Care Plan Meetings.
Requirements include:
· Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Rhode Island
· Previous experience in long-term care
· Must be knowledgeable of Federal requirements for long-term care, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
· Possess strong knowledge of the Managed Care Process
· Previous experience as an MDS Coordinator is preferred
