Our Rehabilitation Services Team provides evaluation and treatments to our residents to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability throughout their lifespan. This includes providing services in circumstances where movement and function are threatened by aging, injury, diseases, disorders, health conditions, or environmental factors. At Radius, we believe functional movement is central to what it means to be healthy.
Our therapy program focuses on identifying and maximizing quality of life and movement potential. This includes physical, psychological, emotional, and social wellbeing and involves the interaction between the therapist, resident, other health professionals, families, care givers and community.
Our comprehensive therapy program incorporates:
- A complete examination/assessment of the resident
- An individualized prognosis and treatment plan
- Consultation with others on the health care team (physicians, nurses, aides)
- Functional outcomes management to assure a safe return to home
- Development of a plan to enhance a resident’s ability for self-management.

- Neurological Therapy (stroke, CVA, brain injury)
- Musculo-skeletal (fracture, sprain, strain)
- Joint Replacement (knee, hip)
- Movement Disorders (Parkinson’s, MS)
- Cardio-pulmonary (acute MI, COPD, CHF)
- Cognitive Deficit Disorder (Alzheimer’s, dementia)
- Generalized weakness or frailty
